ABOUT US

-Meet the Owner-

I chose pageantry because in many ways I wanted to find ways to get involved with my community. I was introduced to pageantry in 2003, while stationed in Norfolk, VA (military) and although at the time I never knew LGBT pageants exist, I find comfort in saying pageantry chose me. Two years after witnessing my first pageant I recognized the importance of community involvement and soon sought to create a platform that would allow me to get involve with my community. With this thought in mind North America was created with a clear purpose: to get involved, and with an unwavering goal: to give back to the community.

The birth of North America took 10 years of building, innovation and strategic planning before introducing it to the world. Through extensive research every detail to build North America was carefully considered and crafted to ensure that the system was geared up to be a success. The focus was on gathering pertinent information by researching other national systems and listening to contestants and patrons to understand what they wanted to see in a national system. I then broke, stitch, and reconstruct those details to create my own unique entity. In the end, I wanted to feel confident enough to know that what I was creating truly meets the needs of its participants.

The name "North America" came from a previous expired system "Miss North America International" formerly owned by Lovell "Babyface" Houston (Mr. Black Universe 2018, Mr. Wessland 2022) Our new motto: to give more, to serve more, to be more, also ministers as a mission statement to serve our community with gratitude and appreciation, and help celebrate those who facilitate and support community involvement. With six active class divisions (Mister | Miss | Mr. Supreme | Miss Supreme | Prince | Princess) and one inactive division (ICON), we vow to offer a unique and transformative experience for all contestants. At North America, we simply believe in continuing the transformation of the art form and integrating it into community related principles. We strive for excellence in the art of male and female impersonation and committed to upholding a competitive, fair, and equal industry.

On a personal note, I will always continue to work hard, because my purpose is for everyone to have a first class experience when they come to North America. My goal is to make North America one of the top premier national LGBTQ pageants in the country and with your help I'm confident we'll soon get there.

Today, I'm eternally grateful that North America was able to stitch it's own fabric within our community and the world of pageantry. I'm grateful to my titleholders who helped steer this vision, to my team who helped navigate North America through periods of rough turbulence, and to the unwavering support from our patrons who helped propagate North America into the entity it has become today. I'm humble enough to know that without our patrons and supporters there won't be a North America. I will always and forever be grateful.

THIS IS NORTH AMERICA !
