Judging Criteria
Presentation | Total Points: 60 (x) 5 Judges = 300 points
Divisions: All Divisions
Presentation wear can be creative, formal, sleek, or sporty. This category leaves an impression on the audience and judges and sets the tone for your competition showcase. Remember that fit, suitability, poise, and modeling are important. Shoes should not be scuffed and should complement the presentation wear and model alike. Clear stones, rhinestones, and/or beads may be worn and should complement the model and garment alike; no AB stones are to be used for this category. Nude or mesh may be utilized within the presentation garment but should not make up the entire presentation. Garments may be accessorized with silver, blue, or white only. Contestants should present confidence and an appropriate appearance for their gender expression. All contestants are required to present themselves in our official colors. White is designated for male contestants, and deep blue for female contestants. Any shade of deep blue is acceptable, which includes Navy, Cobalt, Sapphire, or Royal.
Formal Wear (Male Division) | Total points: 60 (x) 5 Judges = 300 points
Divisions: All Divisions
Formalwear should mimic a contestants' style and class. Shoes should match and complement the contestant's formal wear. Any Judge may express the right to notion any contestant closer to the judge's station for a more careful inspection of garments. Rhinestones are allowed for Formalwear segment and should complement the model and garment alike. Clothing will be judged for fit and suitability. Modeling should be graceful and executing three-point turns, posing and slowly turning at each point. Male contestants should present confidence while exuding a masculine appearance while on stage.
Evening Gown (Female Division) | Total points: 60 (x) 5 Judges = 300 points
Divisions: All Divisions
Evening Gown should be the contestant's most elegant garment of the production. Shoes should match and compliment the contestant's gown. Rhinestones and/or AB Stones are allowed for Evening Gown and should complement the model and gown alike. Clothing will be judged for fit and suitability. Shoes should not be scuffed, or worn down at the toes or heels, and should not look buckled underneath the contestants' weight. Modeling should be graceful and executing three-point turns, posing and slowly turning at each point. Female contestants should present beauty and femininity while on stage.
Fashion Wear | Total points: 60 (x) 5 Judges = 300 points
Divisions: All Divisions
Make a statement on the runway by thinking like a fashion icon, where couture meets glitz and glamour. This category pertains to the type of fashion showcased by models during fashion shows globally, including prominent cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Milan, Tokyo, London, and Paris. Contestants have the flexibility to select any style, ranging from sporty to couture, affluent styles to high-class fashion, and even swimwear. Garments may represent any of the four seasons; however, contestants must avoid combining elements from different seasons within a single outfit (e.g., pairing a winter jacket with spring bottoms, or swimwear with winter fur).
If fashionable swimwear is selected, it should not be presented as traditional or ordinary swimwear. Fashionable swimwear should exhibit a level of CREATIVE flair and/or be accessorized appropriately. Garments must be wrinkle-free and without any strings or torn patches. Fashion swimwear should make a bold statement and be in impeccable condition. Male contestants should present confidence and a masculine appearance, while female contestants should embody beauty and femininity on stage. Clothing will be evaluated based on fit, style, originality, creativity, and suitability.
Talent | Total points: 75 (x) 5 Judges = 375 points
Divisions: All Divisions
All contestants are required to entertain both judges and audience members. Execution and appeal are paramount in this category; it is essential that no participant allows any member of their talent segment to outshine, outdance, outact, or outperform them. Contestants will be evaluated on stage presence, creativity, presentation, lip sync accuracy, execution, choreography, showmanship, and overall production and entertainment value. All talent music must be recorded or downloaded onto a flash/USB drive and properly labeled.
Talent Tip: Simply standing at the center of the stage and lip-synching may not significantly enhance entertainment value. It is advised to incorporate energy, emotions, and effective use of the stage to potentially maximize the audience's engagement and entertainment experience.
Personal Interview | Total points: 45 (x) 5 Judges = 225 points
Divisions: Mister | Miss | Supreme
This category serves as the initial point of evaluation. It is an opportunity to make a lasting impression on both the judges and the promoter. Contestants in this category are assessed based on their presence and appearance, posture and body language, conversational skills, smoothness of transitions or any potential stuttering, effectiveness in answering questions, and overall persona.

Exclusionary Judging Clause:
It’s per North America policy that judges are not required to submit comments on contestant’s score sheets, however North America administrative liaisons will ensure that all judges are scoring each contestant based on our fair and honest scoring and judging policy. Master score sheet will be accessible to the public on our official North America website. All Contestants will receive copy of master score sheet at immediate end of competition.
